Greetings from Hosmer Point! Today has started sunny with some gusts of wind to keep us cool. We’re feeling well rested after falling asleep with some cozy campfires last night. For breakfast we feasted on english muffin sandwiches filled with bacon, egg, and cheese and a side of refreshing cantaloupe! This morning, campers are diving back into their chosen Focus Areas, taking part in activities such as mountain biking, bouldering, sailing, and sewing. In electives, campers have options of everything from a water balloon fight or karaoke to flower crowns or silent reading. This afternoon, campers will continue planning some murals to decorate the campus, and learn the basics of sculling and sailing. And of course, our wonderful Farm and Garden crew is running various fun activities throughout the day! Wednesdays are pizza night so we’ll eat out on the lawn and enjoy the yummy food made by our head counselors. We’ll finish the night off with some card games and music around the fire performed by our talented staff.
