Cabins & Accommodations
Cabins: Each family will be assigned their own cabin. Cabins are rustic - they have screens with shutters instead of windows - but all have electricity and outlets. Most cabins have a main area with bunk beds for 10 and a smaller adjoining room with two twin beds. There are also some smaller cabins with bunks for 4 or 6 people, and some cabins with one full-size bed. Cabins are in two main areas. The Bay is closer to the center of camp, while the Point is more “away from it all.” All the cabins in each area share a bathhouse with sinks, toilets, and hot showers, and there are also two cabins with en-suite toilets and sinks. We assign cabins based on family size and camper age (putting families with young children in closer cabins and cabins closer to the bathhouse). You can request a cabin when you register, but we can’t guarantee you’ll get your first choice.
Accessibility: We have two wheelchair accessible cabins (which do not have en-suite toilets) and our activity buildings and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. Hosmer Point has a large and hilly campus with uneven ground in many areas. Folks with mobility concerns may need to drive personal cars around camp or bring a scooter or wheelchair with large tires. Please let us know if you require any special accommodations or if you have mobility concerns and we can chat about your needs at camp.
Connectivity: Wifi is available in the guest lounge, if needed. Cell service is limited to the top of the hill - there is no service in the cabin areas.
Meals: We take pride in using fresh, local ingredients and serving delicious food! We can accommodate most dietary restrictions. Please explain any requirements when you register.
