Greetings from Hosmer Point! We woke this morning well rested after a fun county fair night last night. Yesterday evening we played cornhole and spikeball, bobbed for apples, and competed in tug of war. And of course, campers donned life jackets and bike helmets for the fan favorite, Billy Goats Gruff! We fueled up for our day with breakfast sandwiches on english muffins, before heading to morning focus areas. The All Stars group worked on their lip sync dance and the Dude Perfect group worked on their ping pong trick shots. The day is beautiful, sunny and warm but cool in the shade. In morning electives campers created crossword puzzles and played flag football and capture the flag. For lunch we enjoyed grilled cheese and tomato soup, perfect for this cooler day. Campers and staff are still hard at work making decorations for our Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow night. For afternoon electives, campers are playing ping pong, ultimate frisbee, and sardines. Next, they’ll be putting the finishing touches on their numbers for the lip sync performance tonight. We’re looking forward to pizza night tonight and eating outside on the lawn.
