Good evening HP families!
It's slightly overcast, but it's still a fantastic day to continue to strengthen our focus areas! There is a welcoming breeze to break the humidity. While we've had a great stretch of weather, we're heading into some wet weather that will certainly not impede on our memory making progress here at camp.
Today, we only did one elective where campers had the option of farm and garden, cloud watching, basketball, fairy houses, stand up paddle boarding. You may have seen these electives done earlier in your campers session, but rest assured they explore different aspects of each elective as the session continues! For instance, cloud watching was a little tricky today, but the counselors were on it and instead made all different kinds of clouds that could happen.
Camp is about to get a lot more musical after our refueling snack! Cabins are practicing their lip syncs for their final production tomorrow. Campers have various tasks beyond their dancing skills including lighting, sound and props. This is a predictable hit at camp that strengthens bonds and celebrates our last days and nights together.
We had our trustworthy pancakes this morning with other staple options to begin our day, followed by famous Taco Tuesday!! The textures and flavors of these tacos and all the toppings never get old and we are incredibly grateful for our kitchen friends. Dinner for tonight is flavor packed meatloaf or fallafel, green beans and cauliflower. It smells delightful right now!
As we finish off our steamy Tuesday at camp, we're looking forward to our evening activity of Quidditch! This is an ongoing evening camp game. Be sure to ask your campers about this experience! We're in the homestretch!
