Wednesday July 14
We woke up and it was a little windy and drizzly. For breakfast we had egg sandwiches and a tasty peach cardamom oatmeal. In Sculling, every camper got out on the water in rowing shells. Even with a slight wind and they were all successful. Mountain biking went on an excursion to little Hosmer pond. Guitar focus area built a fire and played some songs all together. There were regattas today for both sailing and paper airplanes! Some kind campers held a carwash for the staff cars, and some teams from casino night cashed in their prizes, including sunscreening the aquajump. Lunch was tacos, bean layer dip, and salad! There was a short thunderstorm in the afternoon that caused us to stay inside for about 45 minutes but then we had time to rehearse our performances for later. We had pizza night for dinner, a camp favorite! Lip Sync was the evening activity, cabins prepared all week long to dance and put on AMAZING performances for the camp. Burke’s lip sync was the winner this week! Tomorrows schedule is going to be totally different than todays, and we are looking forward to sleeping in!
