Thursday July 1
We had a wonderfully cool morning, and loved not feeling so sticky. For breakfast we had egg sandwiches, maple scones, fruit salad, and cereal/yogurt bar. We all pitched in on some chores to take care of camp and went to our final AM focus areas today. After the first elective block, we had a big buffet lunch outside. During rest hour we got matching HP shirts and took an all camp photo. We went to our PM focus areas and final electives, then we had a snack of deviled eggs and celery sticks with sun butter. The afternoon sun came out just a little and helped us really enjoy our last electives. Some of the awesome electives offered throughout the day were SUPing, Land vs Water, archery, fishing, aggressive self care, finger painting, pet rocks, mountain biking, and bike park. During E3 we enjoyed open tie dye, camp store, and open waterfront for everyone. We had thanksgiving dinner and some people wore fancier outfits. Other people wore country outfits for our evening activity, and some people even wore athletic clothes for stones. We had a BLAST after dinner with a super energetic all camp game of stones, then some country night activities like tractor pull and tug of war, of course with a thematic soundtrack. We tried a counselors vs campers tug of war, and we BROKE the rope right in half! We enjoyed dancing outside the barn and had a final closing circle as a whole camp. We were all pretty tired when we headed back to the cabin sections so we went right to bed. We are sad to leave camp tomorrow, and looking forward to seeing our families!
