Greetings from Hosmer Point!

This morning we enjoyed a sleeping in before eating a scrumptious bagel breakfast. The weather might be dreary but the campers are in high spirits as they compete in today’s Kingdom Cup challenges! Whether you’re a part of Mercia, Wessex, North Umbria, or the Danes, you are sure to be flying your team’s flag with pride today! This morning campers competed in over ten events featuring many classic sports such as archery, ping pong, and disc golf, along with some lesser known events such as wildflower arranging and Koob. After some free time in the the middle of the day to relax, or work on some epic lip sync choreography, our afternoon brings the arrival of the much anticipated Call of the Loon. In this competition that spans both land and water, campers will put their athleticism to the test to earn points for their team, or contribute the vital element of team spirit as they cheer their team representatives on. Our day will conclude with a Barbeque Beach Party on the shore of Lake Hosmer as we look forward to the next week with excitement.
