Greetings from Hosmer Point! We woke up this morning to a yummy breakfast of bacon and eggs, before kicking off the day ahead. Campers headed back to their focus areas. The Project Runway group is working on making some fabulous outfits, and the Waterama Training group had a full morning of practicing their boat skills for Thursday’s competition. For electives, some campers removed the invasive milfoil plants from our waterfront, while others played pickleball or wrote letters. We ate macaroni and cheese for lunch, a crowd favorite, with sweet potato fries on the side. Next, the focus area groups made progress on their lovely murals and decorations for our Thanksgiving dinner. Campers are now enjoying their second round of electives, bouldering in our barn, attending clown college and mermaid lessons, watching clouds, or painting pet rocks. We’re looking forward to snack and free time, after which campers will head to their cabins, likely to practice their lip sync numbers. After our delicious dinner tonight we’ll compete in a rousing game of Lava Rush, which involves mattresses, the soccer field, and flaggle socks. Here’s to another day of Hosmer Point fun!
