Our first full day at camp! Today started off with a “breakfast appetizer” in the cabin sections when directors delivered breakfast bars to each cabins at wake-up time. What a nice surprise! We had swim checks, signed up for focus areas for the first week (activities we’ll do all week) and had our first elective activities (elective choices are different every day). During choice time, most folks went to the water front to cool off, and we also got out our giant slip-n-slide on the big hill! Directors met with each cabin to facilitate rule and boundary setting by the group. We’re so impressed with these campers, and we’re looking forward to a great session! Evening activity was Stones, a faster-paced version of capture the flag which is one of our most popular camp traditions. Campfires in the cabin sections wrapped up the day with sing-a-longs and stories.
