Tuesday, August 6

Greetings from Hosmer Point! This morning we woke up to a pancake breakfast, followed by our usual community work time. Campers returned to their focus areas, before moving on to electives. Today’s first round of electives featured sledding, splashball, silent reading, flag football, flash mob, bikin’, and fun with clay. At lunch, we enjoyed our last taco tuesday of the summer! Campers headed to their afternoon focus areas, before their second set of electives. This afternoon campers painted pet rocks, learned how to crochet and be mermaids, and played dodgeball and giant sharks and minnows. After a snack of watermelon, campers worked on their lip sync routines with their cabins. We’re heading in to eat meatloaf for dinner, before an exciting night at the Hosmer Point County Fair!
