Thursday June 24
Another cool morning but the day warmed up quickly! We had delicious egg sandwiches for breakfast and blueberry squares with fruit salad. This is our last full day of activities at camp, and we made the most of it. The focus areas had a lot of fun playing spike ball, volleyball, paddle boarding, and going on a long swim. Woodworking class finished carving their spoons, theatre class put on performances for their peers, and guitar class sang their song at breakfast. The little bellas rode on the hardest trails at the outdoor center today and had a color powder fight! We had a picnic lunch of pizza rolls, pasta salad, green salad, and delicious cookies. We all got matching HP shirts and took photos in them together. Some of the electives offered today were Lady-Gaga ball, mountain biking, archery, SUPing, Ping Pong tournament, nature painting, and cooking in the garden. We had thanksgiving dinner and we all got our camp necklaces at a closing ceremony at the community tree. Country night was our evening activity; it was a big dance party and a lot of games like disc golf, nail race, spike ball, and tractor tug of war. We had an amazing time running around and dancing with other campers and counselors, it was a great way to celebrate our week all together.
