Good Morning avid blog readers. Yesterday was another amazing day here at HP! After a delicious breakfast of bagels, oatmeal, and fruit we set out for our day! It was another cool and gorgeous day as campers hung out in the lake, continued practicing and honing their skills in their focus groups and explored all around camp with myriad amazing fun activities during their electives. A huge lunch of amazing leftovers and a giant salad bar led us into the afternoon where we picked up right where we left off. I noticed campers building shelters, playing amazing field games, practicing archery and playing all our fun backyard games including gaga ball, corn-hole, and spike ball. Some campers even started a Dungeons and Dragons game during their free time. Dinner was roasted local chicken, cheesy mashed potatoes and carrots. Evening activity was an amazing fun silly relay race type of competition involving everything from running with a ping-pong ball in a spoon to answering riddles to running to the lake and back. We ended the evening with campfires in the Bay and Point as a gentle misty rain over Hosmer made the campfires and songs seem extra cozy as we got ready for bed and a new day.
