Greetings from Hosmer Point! Happy Thanksgiving Day to all who celebrate! This is our last Thanksgiving of the summer and we’re ready to celebrate! After a much needed sleep-in, we started off with cinnamon buns for breakfast, and then moved on to community work time. Campers are now making their cabin counselor posters and gearing up for a fun day of competition. We’ll start with Soccerama, where each team will compete against the others. After lunch, Capstone campers will head off for their Homeward Bound trip, and CITs will complete their Journey’s End scavenger hunt. Meanwhile, campers will compete in Waterama, their last chance to earn points for their Compass Cup team. After some fierce competition in various water based events, campers will head back to their sections to pack and get dressed for the evening’s festivities. We’ll have our Thanksgiving dinner, Closing Ceremony, and close out the night with a dance party! We’re looking forward to a bittersweet day tomorrow, happy reunions and tearful goodbyes.
