Greetings from HP! After a lovely breakfast of cinnamon rolls and fruit salad, we began our exciting day. We tackled community work time before heading to our first set of focus areas. American Revolution and Marching Band joined forces for a parade around camp! Our morning electives featured Lady Gaga Ball, Bullfrog Hunting, Flotation Station, Fan Club, Zen Coloring, and Spelling Bee. At lunch, we talked with our friends over bowls of tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwiches. In afternoon focus areas, we honed our skills in printmaking, woodworking, and various varieties of boating. We then played Sardines, X-treme Bocce, Rugby, or made hand-drawn memes. After free time, we headed to our cabins, many of us plan to choose a song for our lip sync performance next week. We’re looking forward to a delicious dinner to fuel us up for an exciting all-camp game of Gauntlet tonight! After that, we’ll be tired out and ready for a good night’s rest!
