Hello, HP!
We hope this blog post finds you in great spirits. We've had an absolutely fantastic day at camp today, and we're excited to share all the fun and exciting activities your children have been enjoying.
Staying Hydrated: The Key to a Healthy Camp Experience
As the temperature rises, we've been stressing the importance of staying hydrated to ensure that your little adventurers have a safe and enjoyable time at camp. We've implemented a dedicated hydration program to remind campers to drink water frequently and stay hydrated throughout the day. Our counselors and staff members are always on hand to refill water bottles and encourage the campers to take regular water breaks.
Fun in the Sun at the Waterfront
Today, with the hot temperatures the waterfront has been a hub of excitement and adventure! With the sun shining brightly, our campers flocked to the refreshing waters for some thrilling activities. Stand up paddle boarding, fishing, sculling, and swimming were among the popular choices for the day.
🏄 Stand Up Paddleboarding: Our campers have been having a blast mastering the art of stand up paddleboarding. With the calm waters as their playground, they have been honing their balance and coordination skills while enjoying the picturesque views of the surrounding nature. It's been incredible to witness their confidence grow as they glide across the water on their boards.
🎣 Fishing: For those seeking a more tranquil activity, fishing has been a popular choice. Guided by our experienced fishing instructors, our campers have been learning the ins and outs of casting lines, patiently waiting for the fish to bite. There have been many proud moments as they reel in their first catches of the summer, fostering a sense of accomplishment and connection with nature.
🏊 Swimming: The joy of swimming remains a staple of our waterfront activities. With the utmost focus on safety, our certified lifeguards ensure that campers can splash, dive, and enjoy the water to their heart's content. Swimming provides a refreshing respite from the summer heat and allows campers to bond with their peers while building water confidence and honing their swimming skills.
🚣 Sculling: Campers have been enthusiastically embracing this rowing sport, learning the technique and skills required to navigate the water with oars in hand. Sculling offers a unique challenge and a chance for campers to explore a different form of water-based movement while enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings.
That's all for now! We'll continue to keep you updated on the adventures happening at camp, so stay tuned for more exciting news and stories. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to our camp office.
Kind regards,
