Summer Camp

Water front

Hosmer Point is a non-profit summer camp on Hosmer Pond in the mountains of Vermont. We offer sessions for girls and boys between the ages of 9 and 15. Hosmer Point's philosophy places the campers at the center of what we do, fostering a love of lifetime sports, teaching skills they'll use forever and instilling an appreciation for our surrounding environment so they may become caring stewards of the future.

Come row, sail, run, bike, garden, build and play with us in Vermont!

Come create with us. You will choose from three focus areas each week: Waterfront/Sculling, Adventure Wilderness, and Farm & Build. Each day you get to choose from a variety of  elective offerings.

We're in a very peaceful place where we can create our own community. The woods, trails, lake and mountains around us will be our playground. You may discover that the tranquility of rowing on the lake, watching the loons dive and re-surface is your idea of fun.  Others may find that pushing themselves to be better runners, riding our trails, or playing on our climbing wall.  Or maybe you'll be most interested in creating in arts and crafts, woodworking, and getting your hands dirty in our gardens.

We'll all come together each night to enjoy dinner and play games. It may be singing around a camp fire, dancing on stage or playing a game of Capture the Flag. We focus on life in the outdoors. We laugh and learn and play our way through the days.
